Antique Gilt Bronze and Marble Figural Centerpiece Attributed to E.F. Caldwell

Gilt and patinated bronze centerpiece depicting a lovely mermaid supporting a seashell with stylized dolphin with cherubs (putti) at the base, mounted on a variegated pink marble pedestal and raised on gilt bronze feet.

This model appears at least twice in the firm's photographic records between 1906 and 1910, according to Christie's.
